Beautiful People//Princess Zenaide of Vita Anima

(stealing once more from the beautiful people archives, in order to delve into the depths of yet another character's mind. care to join me? read below. :D)
What is their full name? Princess Zenaide of Vita Anima. As in, she was born in Vita Anima (life of the soul), and is ruler there, though she lives in Peu de Port (little port) for most of the duration of the book.

Does his or her name have a special meaning? Both Zenaide and her sister Zenobia's names mean belonging to Zeus, from the old Greek myths. The meaning was changed before they were named, and now means to belong to God.*

Does your character have a methodical or disorganized personality? Zenaide is incredibly methodical. Order lives in her soul.

Does he or she think inside themselves more than they talk out loud to their friends? (more importantly, does he or she actually have friends?) Zenaide thinks more than she speaks. And when she does speak, it doesn't happen without though preluding it. She does have friends, but all are kept at a safe distance. Very few actually know how she feels about certain matters, besides the indifference she shows in public. Ara is one of these very select few.

Is there something he or she is afraid of? If you look at Zenaide from the outside, you would think she was fearless. Nothing seems to throw her. But underneath the mask, she is a real person, living, breathing, and with a beating heart. A heart that is indeed sensitive to things, though she likes to think it isn't. She is particularly afraid of animals being injured.

Does he or she write, dream, dance, sing, or photograph? No. But she cares for animals. A few people have heard of her talent to bring one from near death back to vibrance, and her aide is highly valued.

What is his or her favorite book? (or genre of books) Zenaide *loves* history. She is inspired by heroes of old, especially Homer's The Odyssey. Something stirs deep in her being when she read about Odysseus and all his adventures.

Who is his or her favorite author and/or someone that inspires him or her? She probably couldn't choose her favorite author, but she is definitely inspired by nature, and weather.

Favorite flavor of ice cream? She has never tasted ice cream, but if she did, it would most likely be vanilla. :) It is sweet, warm in flavor, and gentle.

Favorite season of the year? Spring, when everything is being born. Winter is too cold, summer is too hot, and in fall, everything is dying. yes, undoubtedly spring.

*this is not a historical fact, but a fact that is invented for the sake of my book. :)

  1. Wow... Princess Zenaide and I have a lot in common. ;) Particularly about the animals--history--nature--and vanilla ice-cream. ;)

    Lovely post, Bree!
