Every writer needs inspiration.
But what works for me the most is food. Good food that is. ;) What I have concocted above is a list of foods that can be good for both your body and mind, as long as you don't overdue it.

If you're a grand fan of chocolate, go for dark or semi-sweet for a quick sweet inspiration. White and milk chocolate are okay, but they have a lot of sugar in them which could make you feel drained shortly after eating them.

The warmness of either coffee or tea can help relax your mind better, and help you concentrate on what you're writing about.

Fruits and veggies are easy to grab from the fridge and eat if you're in a rush to finish you're writing. Go for apples, oranges, carrots, or blueberries for healthy, sweet snacks that can help boost your creative juices.

And finally, some home-made chicken noodle soup not only gives you the same warmth as the coffee/tea does, but is also hearty, filling, nutritious (in some cases) and brings aromas that can help bring inspiration back to life again. Of course, you can always ditch the noodles and have the chicken broth instead, but either choice is fine. :)

So as a writer, what helps you find inspiration?
Do tell.

Hello! I'm Marianela (Nela for short), a blogger over at "Beloved Star". I enjoy doing Taekwondo, cooking/baking/eating "raw" healthy foods, writing, reading classics, having photo-shoots during "the golden hour", and serving my wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ, even though I am a work in progress. But through His sacrifice on the cross, I am already blameless in His sight. Come visit whenever you can, because I would like to meet you. :)
