Forum Question: Primers for Oily Skin Types

Monday, September 21, 2015

I'm starting off this week a little bit differently than usual. I like to keep things pretty basic over here, as you might have noticed, but sometimes it's nice to bring in the other side of things - meaning, you and your opinion.

But before we get into all that, a few announcements!

As this little space is currently in the limbo between 300 and 400 followers, I thought it would be fun to have a challenge: if we can make 400 by December, I'll be hosting a large beauty-product giveaway, just in time for Christmas! So tell your friends, beauty-loving family members, fellow bloggers! Let's spread the word! I'm so excited to make more amazing friends. <3 p="">
I have so many post ideas in the works back here, but I'd also like to share the answers to questions you have, and share about topics you're interested - after all, it's you that's taken the time out of your day to read! Let me know if you would like to see something specific and I'll be sure to add it to my list. :)

Now for the forum-question:
I'm looking to try out a new primer, as the one I've been using the past 2 months is nearly gone and I haven't been too impressed with it. For reference, I personally have quite oily skin that likes to make my makeup slide - so if you have used or know of any primers, high-end or otherwise that do a good job at mattifying the skin and making your makeup last longer, let me know! But I'd also love to see any and all recommendations - let's help each other out! So-- forum topic: Primers. Let's get chatty!

  1. i love the MUFE primers. they are a bit pricy but there is one for every skin type, and the mattifying one is fantastic. make sure not to use to much, and if you are using the mattifying, hydrate before you use it.

    1. Thanks for the suggestion, friend! I'll definitely be looking into it. :)
