Hello + Happy Wednesday to you, friends!

This week has been so busy already, and in a really good way! But that doesn't leave a ton of time for blog post reading, which is one of my favorite things to do - and really the reason I started doing this. All the same, I have been sneaking little 15-20 media breaks into my day, to keep me inspired and to break things up, and these are my favorite things I've encountered. From inspirational to informational, there's a little bit for everybody here today...

1. "How To Snap Out of A Funk"
I actually read this just a few days after we'd returned from the beach last week, and it really got my head working in the right direction. Vacation can be so good for your work ethic, providing some much needed space between projects to rest your head and your creative juices, but snapping back into the work world can be difficult. Real life seems so dull! I really like the way Carly deals with the issue head on + has some really helpful tips for getting re-inspired to work!

2. "The Ultimate Guide To Squarespace SEO"
Totally nerdy but totally accessible, this article explains clearly what SEO is and how to improve yours. Her tips are specifically geared towards Squarespace, but I learned so much even as a Blogger girl! Definitely recommend any other bloggers or promoters out there to check this one out.

3. "7 Things You Need To Give Up If You Want To Succeed"
I found this when scrolling through Bloglovin's weekly suggestions compilation (anyone else love to peruse those posts? I've found some really good stuff there, ha!) and the title of this caught my eye, as I've really been thinking about success lately, and what that looks like for me, for my future. I thought it was going to tell me to give up things like "free time with friends", but that's totally not where the authoress took this post! I really appreciate what she said.

4. The Rio 2016 Summer Olympics
This is a no-brainer, but every time the Olympics come around (particularly the summer Olympics) I get so into it! I love keeping the events on throughout the day, and whenever I pass through the living room I'll stop and watch a swimming heat, or a gymnastics routine, or a volleyball match. (It makes me more motivated in the gym,!) I'm especially looking forward to the women's team gymnastics finals...#GoTeamUSA!

5. "Garden Tea" Styled Shoot
How dreamy is this styled shoot by my friend Alyssa? I can't get enough of the carefree, elegant vibe (and that dress, too...*heart eyes*) that to me just embodies the epitome of an overcast summer day. Go check it out and give her some love!

What have you been loving lately? Are you watching the Olympics? What are your favorite events/athletes?

  1. I'm more of a winter olympics girl, but I have enjoyed watching the swimming and gymnastics!

    1. The swimming has without a doubt been my favorite. So much history being made!

      Cheers. <3

  2. Reading blogs, is one of my favorite things to do.

    1. I have to agree with you on that one! ;D
